What do we do during a session?

A typical forest bathing session is around two hours and gives participants a chance to reset their nervous system and find a fresh perspective on their world. There is no destination on a forest bathing session, just a goal of noticing and appreciating one’s surroundings. This simple state of wonderment and relaxation creates a boost in wellness that can last for two to three weeks after the session. Participants are guided through invitations to connect with their senses as a way to deeply enjoy the environment. Following tradition, a forest bathing walk ends with a tea ceremony to celebrate the plants of the forest and incorporate the experience in community.
